Walker-Grant Orchestra Takes First
The WGMS Orchestra, led by Dr. Bartram, won First Place in their division at Saturday's Music in the Marks competition at Busch Gardens this past weekend. They also earned Best Overall Orchestra from the panel of judges. Music in the Parks hosts the most popular school music competitions in the country, and Busch Gardens is one of their primary sites. The orchestra competed against schools from VA, NC, PA, MD, and NJ.

FCPS families have one week left to register their elementary students (K-5) for the Superintendent’s Summer Scholars Program. The deadline to register is May 6.
